The dog toilet was invented in 1981 by our company founder Josef Rosenast, and has gained recognition in a number of countries under the ROBIDOG brand name. The range has undergone continuous expansion since those early days, including into various areas within municipal waste disposal. ROBIDOG – a great invention!

ROBIDOG is synonymous with dog-waste disposal in many parts of Europe. Joseph Rosenast, our company founder, invented the ROBIDOG dog toilet over 30 years ago.

With its high-quality ROBIDOG dog toilets and bag dispensers and the ROBIDOG dog-waste bags available in a variety of colours, ROBI AG is making a huge contribution towards the responsible disposal of dog waste.

ROBIDOG – THE dog toilet

With over 30 years of experience in dog-waste disposal, our systems have also undergone constant further development. For our ROBIDOG "Classic" dog toilets for dog-waste bags on a roll and our ROBIDOG "NOVO" dog toilets for blocks of dog-waste bags, we use 3 mm-thick, corrosion-resistant aluminium. This makes the ROBIDOG dog toilets extremely robust and durable. With capacity to dispense up to 800 dog-waste bags and a large volume available for the used bags, maintenance intervals can be confidently made that bit longer. Choose the colour or have your own slogan printed on to give your dog toilet a personal touch and specific consideration.

Bag dispensers from ROBI AG – stainless steel of course!

ROBI AG also uses exclusively corrosion-resistant materials for its bag dispensers. The "ECO" bag dispenser is made from 1.5 mm-thick stainless steel. Our bag dispensers can be easily affixed to any pole or to a wall. When affixed above a waste bin, they create a cost-effective dog toilet in an instant. The "FOX" bag dispenser, also made of stainless steel, has a 2 mm-thick curved front for a look that sets it apart. It is also technically impressive though: A sprung plate presses the bags against the opening to ensure that only one bag is withdrawn. What a neat solution!

ROBIDOG dog-waste bags – when quality helps save money

Hygienically speaking, the dog-waste bag is an extremely sensitive product and demands scrupulous quality checks during production. Only flawless quality will convince dog owners to use the dog-waste bags on offer and to dispose of these in the next dog toilet or in a waste bin. Poor quality leads to rejection by dog owners and to multiple consumption, basically when multiple dog-waste bags are used for a single pick-up. ROBIDOG dog-waste bags are especially tear-proof and of a consistently high quality.

Under the ROBIDOG label, ROBI AG sells dog-waste bags for many purposes: Dog-waste bags on rolls or in blocks for dog toilets and bag dispensers, but also specially packed dog-waste bags suitable for over-the-counter sales direct to dog owners. The TAKE IT EASY dog-waste bags, for example, are packaged in a similar way to pocket tissues and can easily be carried by dog owners.

PE or bio-degradable, which is better?

ROBI AG uses polyethylene (PE) to make ROBIDOG dog-waste bags. The use of bio-degradable bags has not caught on: partly due to the higher costs involved, but also because bio-degradable dog-waste bags suggest to the dog owner that the bags can be "disposed of" within the landscape. However, the degrading process can take years. Furthermore, dog waste should always be incinerated as it can contain harmful germs. Polyethylene burns without producing any harmful substances.
